Sunrise Supports Hope Cottage with a Telethon. It was be held at the Small Business Centre New England and North West located at Level 1, 307 Peel St Tamworth on the 3rd March 2006 and assisted us in raising nearly $50,000.We thank Mark Baretta and Sunrise for their support and assistance in making this day a raging success. Many thanks to Helen from the Small Business Centre for her generosity and assistance with the venue and arrangements. Special thanks also to Quest Serviced Apartments in Tamworth for providing accommodation to our volunteers travelling to Tamworth from other locations. Mark Beretta chooses Hope Cottage as his charity We are so pleased to announce that Mark Beretta of the Sunrise team has chosen to support the Chaianne Ramage Foundation and Hope Cottage for the next two years. This is a huge step forward towards realising our dream of a peaceful and tranquil retreat for the families of very ill children.As part of Channel 7, Sunrise and Mark's support of the Hope Cottage dream, Prime Television has donated air time, and add production including various mentions on the Sunrise program. Mark Beretta visits Chaianne Chaianne had the time of her life on the 21st September 2005, when Mark Beretta and a team from Prime Television came to Tamworth and spent the day with her shooting an ad for Hope Cottage and the Chaianne Ramage Foundation which can be seen on Prime Television.Whilst visting Mark also did a story on Chaianne for Channel 7's Sunrise morning program, including spending time at Chaianne's school, St Edwards. Chaianne's teachers Miss Toshak and Garry McSweeney were interviewed and the children at the school got to play with Chaianne in the playground while the cameras rolled, they were stoked! Chaianne was smitten by Mark, commenting on what a lovely, lovely man he is. We found Mark to be a very understanding and compassionate person. He shares our dreams for Hope Cottage and we are very lucky to have him and the rest of the Sunrise Team at Prime supporting us. Everyone had a great time, we thank you Mark & Fiona and everyone at Sunrise and Prime Television!
